Ron is the newly appointed field agent with the Knights of Columbus, serving the Greater Sarasota, Bradenton, and St. Petersburg Area.

After retiring from a gratifying year banking career in September 2020, Ron moved to the area to be near his daughter and only grandchild.

After retirement he prayed for guidance on the next adventure; wanting to continue to grow, serve others and get closer to God and his Catholic faith. Ron believes becoming a Knights of Columbus Field Agent has given him that opportunity.

Throughout his career Ron has been deeply involved in his community serving on numerous boards from hospital foundations, Economic Development Councils, business incubators and Chambers of Commerce. He is committed to a continuing involvement in his community and the Councils and Parishes he serves.

I was born in Northeast Ohio and moved to the Emerald Coast of NW Florida in 2005.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hiram College, graduated from The Stonier Graduate School of Banking, The University of Oklahoma School of Commercial Banking, as well as the Strategic Change Leadership Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Administration. Ron has participated in numerous leadership programs and the creator and co-founder of L.E.A.D. a leadership development program of which he received statewide recognition.

Ron proudly followed the footsteps of the men he most admired; my Father, Uncles and their friends, first becoming a Knight at 18. He is a 3rd degree member at Council 13639 Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.

He is the proud father of three incredible daughters Abby, Mandy and Mia, Grandfather to an amazing two year old, Noah and engaged to a beautiful young lady named Alice.
