Dear Brother Knights:
Today, we solemnly mark the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Within 36 hours of the start of the conflict, the Knights of Columbus answered the call to help. In launching the Ukraine Solidarity Fund, we quickly mobilized to raise funds, welcome refugees to Poland and deliver aid to internally displaced people in Ukraine. Our relief efforts, firmly rooted in our principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, have never ceased, and Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly’s message to those affected continues to be, “You are not alone.”
In commemoration of the one-year anniversary, and the start of the Lenten season, we’re pleased to share this new video message from Supreme Knight Kelly, which can be viewed here.
We ask you to join us in praying for the millions of men, women and children impacted by this war, and our 9,000 Brother Knights in Ukraine and Poland who work every day to deliver humanitarian assistance and spiritual support to those in need.
Thank you and Vivat Jesus!
